Independence Day is right around the corner! It’s time for patriotism and celebration of American freedom! Spend your Fourth of July hanging out with your friends & family at one of the coolest beaches of LA, eating the city’s best BBQ, having fun at the neighborhood parades and celebratory festivals. No matter what event to choose, it all leads up to the best part of the celebration – fireworks! Here is the list of events happening on Fourth of July around the city:

PACIFIC PALISADES FOURTH OF JULY PARADE

This Independence Day in Pacific Palisades, you’re in for extravagant beachy vibes! Starting around 2pm, you can watch patriotic skydivers descend from high above followed by the neighborhood’s colossal parade with marching trombonists and more. The parade starts at Sunset Boulevard, between Via de la Paz and Drummond. Entrance to the parade is free; VIP grandstand seating – starting $50. Afterwards, settle in for a concert and, of course, the fabulous fireworks – $10 for both.

FOURTH OF JULY AMERICAFEST AT THE ROSE BOWL

Celebration at the Rose Bowl is of all things red, white and blue – classic American food, motorcycle stunt show, fireworks display – with fireworks going off at 9pm! The event is a kid-friendly environment with lots of games, inflatable rides and more excitement for your little ones. Event parking costs $20.

FOURTH OF JULY BLOCK PARTY

Make your way to Grand Park and watch the celebration of Uncle Sam in Downtown LA! The party features food truck fare, live music and more. It’s a family- and pet-friendly event, so enjoy your all-day Independence Day picnic with all your loved ones.

JULY 4TH IN MARINA DEL REY

If you live in Marina Del Rey or want to head over there to enjoy the fireworks over the ocean – choose either one of these places you should watch the festivities: Burton Chase Park, Fisherman’s Village, Mother’s Beach, waterfront restaurants or on boats. Look out for fireworks at 9pm for about 20 minutes.


4TH OF JULY AT DODGER STADIUM


All you baseball fans, head to Dodger Stadium to celebrate 4th of July! Dodgers are playing against Diamondbacks. Get your ticket through an Independence Day promotion, and you’ll receive a red-white-and-blue Dodgers t-shirt.


JULY 4TH FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR WITH PENTATONIX


Settle in with wine and good company for the performance of Pentatonix, one of the best a cappella groups of the country. The show ends with spectacular fireworks!
