Since the tournament began in 1939, UCLA takes the number-one place with eleven national titles, followed by Kentucky - with eight titles, and North Carolina - six. What is March Madness?
March Madness is a NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament played each spring in the United States, currently featuring 68 college basketball teams from the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), to determine the national championship. This is one of the most famous sports events in the US. On Selection Sunday, the NCAA Committee reveals which 68 teams have made the field for that year's basketball championships.
