This year, get ready for even more L.A. restaurant openings than in 2017! Many New York-based eateries keep migrating to West Coast, as well as outposts from Australian and San Franciscan establishments. Here are some of the most anticipated openings to keep an eye out for in 2018:
Tartine Manufactory, June 2018
San Francisco's Tartine will open their first Los Angeles location at THE ROW DTLA. Angelenos will get to enjoy the culinary masterpieces of James Beard Award-winning chefs Chad Robertson, Elisabeth Prueitt, & Chris Bianco. Tartine Manufactory will include a production bakery, market, two restaurants, coffee roasting facility, and a coffee lab.
Cosme, Late 2018
This New York-based restaurant is known for its East Coast take on Mexican cuisine, and is considered one of the world's greatest restaurants. Its chef, Enrique Olvera, has previously opened a restaurant Pujol in Mexico City, which gave him his international fame. Cosme opens in LA later this year.
Lûmé, Fall 2018
When Lûmé opens in LA later this year, Angelenos will have a chance to experience Australian culture with its experimental culinary approach, as well as art and music. Melbourne-based eatery has two menu options consisting of a seven-course meal or an even more fascinating culinary experience. Let's hope LA gets the same exquisite, gourmet menu items.
