• Fall-themed Things to Do in L.A.

Fall season brings us the most dramatic change of colors. Angelenos know it as that period of time in L.A. after the tourists leave and just before palm trees all over the city get their Christmas lights. Fall season means the impulse to update your reading list, buy new sweaters, and order seasonal dishes. Whatever this wonderful season means to you, here are the best fall-themed things to do in Los Angeles this October:

Apple picking season is upon us, and there are plenty of options around Los Angeles. Head to the Oak Glen area of SoCal – the place will be blooming with these delicious fruits just waiting to be picked. You can eat them right off the tree, or bake a delicious pie! We recommend the following Oak Glen farms: Willowbrook Apple Farm and Riley’s Apple Farm.

Halloween month is closer than you might think! It’s time to talk about the decorations.

Whether you’re looking for a pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern or just a pumpkin patch to enjoy your day, L.A. has plenty of patches with such activities as petting zoos and haunted mazes. Some of the best pumpkin patches in the city are: Tapia Brothers Farm or Pa’s Pumpkin Patch.

October also brings us Oktoberfest with all its beer! Los Angeles has plenty of fantastic beer bars and biergartens in L.A. Oktoberfest gives us the opportunity to visit them as much as possible and welcome autumn with a bratwurst in hand. Definitely keep this event in mind this upcoming month.
