We all care about our precious planet - so it's time to celebrate it! Assembly your recycling and take part in protecting the Southern California environment at the following Earth Day events this and next weekend. Earth Day Spring Cleaning Event

April 20, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM


Celebrate Earth Day at an Ethical Fashion Pop-Up Shop! Bring your unwanted, gently used clothes and we'll give them a second life by donating them to the Downtown Women’s Center. This event takes place at Bryck & Mortar - 13050 San Vicente Boulevard, 209. To learn more, click here.

Earth Day in Los Angeles: One Tree Planted

April 20, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Get your hands dirty and do something good for nature this Earth Day! Join Friends of the LA River and North East Trees on this beautiful weekend day to help clean up the Lewis MacAdams Riverfront Park! Friends of the LA River will be doing a giveaway of items including tote bags, t-shirts and stickers for those who come help restore this wonderful park! To learn more, click here.


 

Earth Day LA 2019

Celebrate Earth Day by planting a tree! Come down to Sun Valley Recreation Center and join Councilmember Nury Martinez, Cal Fire, the Department of Recreation and Parks, City Plants, and the Los Angeles Conservation Corps for a fun and family-friendly day of climate and community action!
