It does get too hot outside for some of us these days - so if you prefer to stay in and enjoy the sun shine through your window, what better way to do it than with a good summer movie! Invite yoru friends over, make cocktails, and enjoy one (or two or three) of the following summer movies:
Dirty Dancing (1987)
This summer classic starring Patrick Swayze is about Frances "Baby" Houseman, who is spending the summer at a Catskills resort with her family. She then falls in love with the camp's dance instructor, Johnny Castle. It's simply everyone's favorite movie!
The Parent Trap (1998)
This movie is thre remake of the 1961 film of the same name, where identical twins Annie and Hallie, separated at birth and each raised by one of their biological parents, later discover each other for the first time at summer camp and make a plan to bring their wayward parents back together. Nothing gives off stronger summer vibes than camping!
Summer Rental (1985)
Who doesn't love John Candy? In this summer film, an overworked air-traffic controller takes his family on a beach vacation but is soon beset by series of mishaps.
The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999)
Set on the Amalfi Coast in the 1950s, this psychological thriller gives is full of beach vibes and vintage summer vacation style. And, as a bonus to all the beautiful seaside scenery featured in the film, young Matt Damon and young Jude Law are definitely worth your time!
