The largest independent bookstore in Southern California started out in a loft apartment and has since has taken over an old bank downtown! If you have an old book you would like to trade in, or sell, it will be welcomed. Grab a cup of coffee, or explore the Labyrinth level devoted to $1 books. The Last Bookstore is does more than sell books, it creates a community through writer’s groups, book signings, readings, and much more.

If you’re a comic book, or graphic novel fan, then secret headquarters is your new go to! We've heard that the employees are enthusiastic about helping first timers find their niche. They are also rumored to get excited while discussing the newest issues of popular comic books!

 

Mystery Pier Books, Inc.

This little house, turned book store is right off Sunset in West Hollywood. This is where you go if you would like to buy something special. Each book is wonderful and a rare individual. First editions, signed books, out of print novels ad more fill the shelves. Even if you don’t have the budget to buy one of these collectibles, you should take a moment to walk in and explore a beautiful piece of history.
