About Brentwood

Brentwood is extremely low-key, casual, and family-friendly. While some neighborhoods like Brentwood Park can boast estates priced at $10 million or more, the majority of the area is composed of more traditional homes of 2,000 to 6,000 square feet, priced from about $1.5 million and up. There’s a great variety of architectural styles, from classic Cape Cods to bold Mediterraneans to cutting-edge contemporary. The entire area is full of beautiful mature shade trees and lovely landscaping, offering something a little different from L.A.’s typical palm trees!

Brentwood : Area Features and Amenities

Barrington Park and the Brentwood Country Club offer ample space for outdoor activities, as do the area’s many shady tree-lined streets. You’ll often see people jogging, hiking, walking dogs, and biking with the family. Brentwood’s family-friendly characteristics include a number of Los Angeles’ most highly-regarded private schools, such as Archer and Brentwood School.

The quaint and friendly Brentwood Village located off of Sunset Boulevard offers shopping and dining, as does the charming Brentwood Country Mart on 26th Street, which features a post office, an old-fashioned barber shop, and ample outdoor cafes. The Tavern, Toscana, and La Scala Presto are some of the area’s most highly-regarded fine dining destinations.
