3 Cups chopped unpeeled Rome Apple (about 4 large apples)
2 Cups fresh cranberries
½ Cup sugar
1/3 Cup all-purpose flour
¼ Cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 Tablespoons reduced-calorie margarine, softened
1 cup regular oats, uncooked
¼ cup chopped pecans
2 Cups vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt
Layer apple and cranberries in an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray;
sprinkle with sugar.
Combine flour and brown sugar; cut in margarine with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in oats and pecans. Sprinkle mixture over fruit.
Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 25 minutes or until bubbly and thoroughly heated. Let stand for 5 minutes.
To serve, divide evenly among 8 individual dessert dishes;
top each serving with ¼ cup frozen yogurt.
Yield: 8 servings.
