The Pacific Palisades has the feel of a small village.  The three or four blocks of the center of town with “mom and pop” type one story retail stores and restaurants is referred to as the “Palisades Village”.  It is located west of the 405 Freeway to the west

of Brentwood, and adjacent to Santa Monica extending all the way to the Pacific Ocean.

 

The area of the Palisades is populated by people who want a casual outdoor way of life.  It is a small, spread-out residential community with sidewalk-flat areas, several canyons to live in and hike, and bluffs where you can see the Pacific Ocean.  Home prices can range from a $1 million fixer to a $15 million estate.  The Pacific Palisades has a wonderful school system and one of the top golf courses in the world:  The Riviera Country Club.

 

With its casual and friendly ambience, fresh air and a plethora of outdoor activities, it is truly a wonderful area to live.
