The Hollywood Hills area is slightly further east towards Hollywood.  Over the past few years the city of Hollywood has undergone a major transformation.  It now boasts amazing restaurants, clubs and hotel condominium developments.

The hills above Hollywood have the feel of connecting country lanes and offer a quieter country environment.  There are fewer city view properties in this area, and the homes are priced slightly less than its sister, the Sunset Strip.  This is a great area if you are working at a studio, an office in the San Fernando Valley or Downtown Los Angeles.  For most of Hollywood, there are well established culturally exciting places to enjoy, such as the Hollywood Bowl.  The experience of singing outside on a beautiful night under the stars listening to the Philharmonic is a memory that stays with you forever.  There are many famous tourist attractions on Hollywood Blvd. as well.  The famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater with the many celebrity hand and foot imprints in the courtyard is a favorite, and of course the Hollywood Blvd. “walk of fame” where many celebrities have been given a “star” on the sidewalk.  The Academy Awards is hosted at the Kodak Theater, as well as other formidable events.  The center of Hollywood is quite an eclectic collection of people, from street vendors to creative artsy types to a sophisticated nightclub crowd.  All of these people make it a fascinating place to visit or live.
